Knowtion Health, a leading healthcare revenue cycle company, has appointed Rick Howard as its new Chief Technology Officer. Howard brings over 20 years of executive leadership experience spanning healthcare IT, generative AI, data management, and operations, with a proven track record of aligning IT strategy with strong operational results.

Reporting to Jayson Yardley, Chief Executive Officer of Knowtion Health, Howard will guide the company’s technology vision, strategy, and priorities. His responsibilities will include oversight of Knowtion Health’s IT infrastructure, data warehouse, data management, analytics capabilities, software and technology product development, and information security program.

Prior to joining Knowtion Health, Howard held leadership and executive roles at BENinc.ai, AXL Health, Apervita Inc., and Ascension Technologies. He is also a board member for Christiana Care.

“Rick’s demonstrated expertise in change management and results-focused IT initiatives will be an asset to Knowtion Health, especially during such a dynamic time in healthcare revenue cycle management,” said Yardley. “I’m excited to see him lead the advancement of our AI-enabled solutions as we pioneer the next generation of revenue cycle technologies and launch our innovation lab.”

Howard earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Kentucky and an MBA from LeTourneau University. He is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems from HIMSS and earned a data sciences certification from IBM.
