PepsiCo has launched Pepsi Prebiotic Cola, a bold evolution in the cola category designed to align with the modern preferences and health-conscious values of today’s consumers. This innovative new beverage contains just 5 grams of cane sugar, 30 calories, and no artificial sweeteners, delivering the crisp, refreshing Pepsi taste fans love, now enhanced with 3 grams of gut-friendly prebiotic fiber.

Rooted in a legacy that began in 1898 in New Bern, North Carolina, this new addition reflects Pepsi’s ongoing commitment to reinvention and consumer choice. Pepsi Prebiotic Cola debuts in Original Cola and Cherry Vanilla flavors, offering a familiar yet modernized take on a classic cola experience.

“From the iconic blue can, to the consumer-preferred Pepsi Zero Sugar, our portfolio has always adapted to the needs and flavor preferences of the consumer,” said Ram Krishnan, CEO, PepsiCo Beverages U.S. “Pepsi Prebiotic Cola represents the next leap forward in giving consumers choice, optionality and functional ingredients in their cola experience, without sacrificing the iconic Pepsi taste we’re known for delivering. We can’t wait for the world to try the taste of Pepsi Prebiotic Cola for themselves!”

The new drink will be available in 12 oz. single cans for sampling and 8-packs of 12 oz. cans, rolling out online this fall and hitting retail shelves in early 2026. It will be positioned in the traditional carbonated soft drink aisle, alongside the broader Pepsi lineup. The release follows PepsiCo’s recent acquisition of poppi, the leading brand in modern sodas, further expanding its functional beverage portfolio.
