MEGA International School has become one of the first institutions in the country to launch KidsMBA, a globally acclaimed youth entrepreneurship programme endorsed by the UK-based awarding body ABE. The inaugural event held in the school auditorium marks a significant step in advancing early business education in India, aimed at students aged 11 to 15.
Originally developed in the United Kingdom, KidsMBA introduces young learners to the core principles of business, spanning marketing, finance, ethical leadership, and sustainability, through a practical, immersive curriculum. The programme culminates in a dynamic “Shark Tank”-style pitching session that encourages students to develop and present their own business ideas, building critical thinking, communication, and confidence.
The launch event drew an enthusiastic audience of students, educators, and thought leaders. Distinguished speakers included Prof Mark Watson-Gandy OBE, Founder and Chairman of KidsMBA; Emanuella Watson-Gandy, CEO of KidsMBA; Linda Wilkin, Marketing Director at ABE; Dr Sami Ulla, CEO of MEGA Group of Institutions; and Vinayak Sudhakar, ABE Regional Manager for India, Nepal, and Bhutan. Each underscored the transformative potential of entrepreneurial education in preparing students for a rapidly evolving global economy.
Dr Ritu Chauhan, Director and Senior Principal of MEGA International School, also spoke at the event.
