Anritsu Corporation is pleased to announce that its receiver test (SINK test) solution for the latest DisplayPort 2.1 standard has been officially certified by the Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA), the international body responsible for video interface standards.
The certified solution integrates Anritsu’s Signal Quality Analyzer-R MP1900A with automation software from Granite River Labs (GRL) or Teledyne LeCroy, delivering fully automated verification of data transmission quality and calibration. This combination addresses a major challenge in DisplayPort 2.1 product development, streamlining complex testing workflows.
DisplayPort 2.1 supports ultra-high-definition and high-refresh-rate video, including 8K resolution. With ongoing evolution of the standard and its integration with USB Type-C specifications, DisplayPort 2.1 is gaining traction across a wide range of applications, from consumer electronics to advanced professional displays.
Manual verification of signal quality and calibration has traditionally been time-consuming due to intricate test configurations and multi-step procedures. Anritsu’s automated solution dramatically improves development efficiency while ensuring reliable, high-performance video data transmission.
This certification underscores Anritsu’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge compliance solutions for high-speed digital interfaces, enabling faster time-to-market and enhanced quality assurance for device manufacturers worldwide.
