Textron Aviation Inc., a Textron Inc. company, has announced a new agreement with Infinity Flight Group for the purchase of 10 additional Cessna Skyhawk aircraft, scheduled for delivery in 2027. This latest order brings Infinity Flight Group’s total to 35 new Skyhawks purchased over the past three years, marking steady fleet growth and deepening its commitment to training the next generation of pilots.

A certified Cessna Pilot Center, Infinity Flight Group currently operates 65 Cessna Skyhawks from its bases at Trenton-Mercer Airport in New Jersey and Treasure Coast Airport in Ft. Pierce, Florida. The expanded fleet will further enhance the school’s capacity to serve aspiring aviators, reinforcing its role as a premier training provider in the U.S.

“The Cessna Skyhawk sets the standard in reliability and performance,” said Chris Crow, vice president, Piston Sales. “Organizations like Infinity Flight Group continue to place trust in this industry-leading aircraft, which is ideal for both student pilots and private owners.”

The Cessna 172 Skyhawk remains the world’s best-selling, high-wing piston aircraft, prized for its reliability, ease of use, and durability. The newly ordered aircraft will feature the latest dual electronic ignition system (dual EIS), offering improved maintenance, operational efficiency, and performance.

As Textron Aviation celebrates the 70th anniversary of the Cessna 172 Skyhawk—first flown in June 1955, this continued investment reflects the aircraft’s enduring legacy and adaptability in modern flight training.
